The Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union is the largest Public Safety union in the Commonwealth. We are dedicated to improving the terms and conditions of employment for our members. Our membership consists exclusively of uniformed state and county correction officers in various titles who are responsible for the safety and security of the Commonwealths prisons.

We represent all employees in Bargaining Unit 4 of the Massachusetts DOC, Correction Officers in Bristol County, Officers in Plymouth County BCI and Communications and the Dukes County Correction Officers.

The MCOFU advocates for the rights of these dedicated public safety officers through collective bargaining, a comprehensive legislative agenda and aggressively pursuing arbitration and other administrative remedies.
